Texas Mountain Raiders

The Texas Mountain Raiders is a club for all climbers and those who love the mountains. Our purpose is to provide contacts, plan trips, share knowledge, promote speakers and other events, and to help preserve climbing as a recognized recreational use of our public lands.

Greater Houston Grotto

The Greater Houston Grotto is Houston's Local Chapter of the National Speleological Society. The goal of the NSS is to study, explore, and conserve cave and karst resources; protect access to caves; encourage responsible management of caves and their unique environments; and promote responsible caving.

Events and Adventures

Events and Adventures is the Activities club for Houston Singles. We provide our members a wonderful array of adventures all thoroughly planned by our expert event staff. Each event is designed so that singles with common interest can get together in a relaxed environment to socialize and have fun!

NOTE: Rock climbing is a strenuous activity and participants should be in good health. You should avoid climbing if you have any health concerns. All forms of rock climbing involve substantial risk of injury and all participants must assume full responsibility for any and all such risks. All unregistered climbers and belayers must complete and sign our Liability Waivers prior to participation in any climbing activities at Texas Rock Gym. Participants under 18 yrs of age must have our Liability Waivers signed by their parent or legal guardian.
